START UPS AND ECONOMIC REFORM IN SPAIN

Recently it has been published Law 28/2022, of December 21, for the promotion of the ecosystem of emerging companies, called the "Start-Ups Law", which incorporates an important number of measures that significantly reduce legal obstacles to the creation and growth of these companies , mainly referring to tax and social charges, the requirements of commercial law and bureaucratic procedures. In addition, the law promotes investment in innovation, promotes public instruments to support the ecosystem of emerging companies and reinforces public-private collaboration in order to boost the growth of these companies. Finally, the establishment in Spain of entrepreneurs and employees of this type of enterprises is encouraged, as well as remote workers from all types of sectors and companies, known as "digital nomads".

In addition, in the Madrid region Law 11/2022, of December 21, has been passed, on Urgent Measures for the Promotion of Economic Activity and the Modernization of the Administration of the Community of Madrid. The Plan for the Reactivation of the Community of Madrid, after the COVID-19 crisis, contains a set of thirty measures, organized into three axes, aimed at activating the economy, recovering the normal provision of regional public services and helping the most vulnerable people.
